On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the abolition of taboos on visual pornography in denmark , kunsthal charlottenborg presents art & porn group exhibition with aros. The exhibition presents the development of art from the legalization of visual pornography in the 60s to the current fourth wave feminism, and highlights how art is affected by change pornography law. What are the consequences when the boundaries of what citizens can face in public spaces change from day to day? The exhibition opens with the famous painting sex-paralysappeal (1936) by painter wilhelm freddy (1909-1995) . The discussions that followed the work of wilhelm freddy contributed greatly to denmark becoming the first country to lift its ban on pornography in 1969.
